COLUMBUS – The Clippers have a a chance to sweep their Governor‘s Cup playoff series at home after taking a 2-0 lead over Gwinnett.
Dioner Navarro’s three-run home run keyed a four-run fourth inning Thursday night as Columbus beat the Stripers, 7-3. Navarro added an RBI on a single in the eighth.
The best-of-five series comes to Huntington Park for Game 3 Friday night.
