COLUMBUS – The Clippers earned a split of a four-game series at Gwinnett by rallying in the 10th inning to down the Stripers, 7-5, in Sunday’s finale.

Francisco Meija scored on a two-out wild pitch by Gwinnett reliever Jason Hursh in the seventh inning to tie the score at 3-3.

Columbus scored four runs in the 10th, highlighted by Eric Haase’s two-run single and a double by Yandy Diaz to take a 7-2 lead.

Cam Hill allowed two runs in the bottom of the inning to preserve the win for Ben Taylor (3-1).

Jacob Webb (0-1) was saddled with the loss.

The Clippers had won the previous night’s game after dropping both ends of a Friday night doubleheader.

The team returns to Huntington Park Monday night to being a seven-game home stand against International League West rivals Louisville and Indianapolis.
