Clippers 8, Mud Hens 7

COLUMBUS – Alex Call’s three-run homer in the fourth inning erased a two-run deficit and gave the Clippers a lead they never relinquished in an 8-7 win over the Toledo Mud Hens in the final game of their six-game series at Huntington Park Sunday.

Kody Clemens, Aderlin Rodriguez and Yariel Gonzalez hit home runs for the Mud Hens.

Robert Broom (2-1) and four other relievers allowed just three hits over the final five innings.
