COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers scored seven unanswered runs as they rallied to beat the Gwinnett Braves 9-4 Wednesday night.
The Clippers hit three homers in the game and had a total of 13 hits.
Duke von Schamann (1-0) got his first Clippers win, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk in five innings of work. Cody Martin (3-5) took the loss for the Braves.
Trailing 4-2 after two innings, the Clippers scored seven unanswered runs over the next four innings.
Thursday night’s game three of the four at Gwinnett marks the midpoint of the 10-game road trip for Columbus.
