Clippers 9, Indians 6

COLUMBUS – A five-run 5th inning powered the Clippers to a 9-6 win over the Indianapolis Indians at Huntington Park Tuesday night.

Bryson Myles and Erik Gonzalez knocked in runs off Tribe reliever Rob Scahill and an error by third baseman Max Moroff allowed two more runs to score while Gonzalez scored on a misplayed ground ball to right field.

Michael Peoples (1-0) pitched six innings for Columbus in his AAA debut to get the victory.

With the series level, the two teams will play game three of their five-game series on Wednesday at 12:05 P.M.
