COLUMBUS, Ohio – A day after knocking in the winning run in extra innings, Zach Walters drove in six more in the Clippers’ 9-4 win over the Pawtucket Red Sox at McCoy Stadium Sunday afternoon
Walters went 3-for-5 with two home runs, including a grand slam in the seventh, the first for Columbus in 2014.
Toru Murata (2-2) got the win. Ryan Verdugo (1-1) took the loss.
The Clippers go for their third straight win over the Red Sox Monday night at 7:05.
