COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers split a low-scoring double-header with the Louisville Bats Tuesday.
After dropping the opener 1-0, Columbus came back and won the nightcap by the same score.
Eugenio Suarez’s leadoff homer in the bottom of the first was all the scoring in the first gamer.
The Clippers’ Tyler Holt scored on a double-play ball by Jesus Aguilar in the top of the fourth inning of the second game to provide that game’s only run.
The Clippers head to Toledo Wednesday for a three-game series with the Mud Hens.
