Clippers home win streak now at 11

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Back-to-back home runs by Jesus Aguilar and James Ramsey in the first inning were all the Clippers needed to power past the Buffalo Bisons for a Huntington Park-record, 11th-straight home win.

Jordan Cooper (2-1) was tagged with both Bisons runs, in the sixth and seventh innings, but Giovanni Soto kept Buffalo off the scoreboard in the eighth and ninth to record his first save of the season.

Aguilar got the scoring started for Columbus with a two-out, two-run home run to left field that scored Tyler Holt. Ramsey followed up with a homer to right center.

The two play the second game of a three-game series Tuesday morning.
