Clippers leave home with 1 win

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers earned a split in the first two games of a home-and-home series with the Louisville Bats, losing a 4-1 decision Wednesday.

With Monday’s game rained out and no make-up announced, the two teams head to Lousiville with a win apiece.

Chris Nelson hit a grand slam off of Scott Barnes in the top of the 7th inning to give the Bats all the offense they would need.

The Clippers get another shot at the Bats as the series moves to Louisville for three games. Game one of begins at 6:35 p.m.
