Clippers rally for 7-5 win

COLUMBUS – Adam Rosales hit a home run and Jon Berti added a two-run base hit as the Clippers rallied for four runs in the ninth inning to beat Buffalo Tuesday night.

Columbus took a 3-0 lead early with three runs in their first at-bat, highlighted by Yu Chang’s two-run double, but the Bisons took a 4-3 lead after seven innings.

Rosales tied the score with a leadoff home run off reliever Al Alburquerque, who was immediately pulled for Sam Moll (1-3).

Moll got Eric Stamets to ground out but Brandon Barnes brought Yandy Diaz around to score on a single and Berti put the icing on the cake with a single to second baseman Lourdes Gurriel Jr., which scored Brandon Guyer and Barnes.

Luke Eubank (2-0) got the win for the Clippers who resume the three-game series at Coca-Cola Field at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday.
