Clippers return home

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers have a day off before an 11-game home stand begins Thursday night when Durham visits at Huntington Park.

Columbus returns home after a bruising road trip that saw them lose six out of eight games in Rochester and Syracuse, capped off by a 5-3 loss to the Chiefs Tuesday.

Daniel Stange (2-2) got the win for Syracuse in Tuesday’s game, despite giving up all three of the Clippers’ runs in 5 innings of work. Danny Salazar (0-1) took the loss for Columbus after giving up 4 runs in 3 innings.
