MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Connor Marabell hit a two-run double to break a 2-2 tie in the third inning and the Clippers opened the floodgates, deluging the Memphis Redbirds, 12-2, at AutoZone Park Thursday.
Columbus scored at least one run in every inning but two, led by Mike Rivera’s four RBI.
Andruw Monasterio and Oscar Gonzalez hit home runs for the Clippers.
Matt Koch (3-2) took over for starter Cody Morris in the fourth inning and got the win for Columbus.
Johan Olvedo (1-5) took the loss.
