Clippers run win streak to 7 games

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers extended their winning streak to seven games with a 6-2 victory over Lehigh Valley in the opening game of a seven-game road trip.

After tying the score at 2 with an RBI triple in the top of the sixth inning Audy Ciriaco shattered the deadlock in the eighth with a three-run home run to left field.

Michael Roth (3-1) gave up both of the IronPigs’ runs on five hits while striking out seven hitters in eight innings of work.

The two teams play again Tuesday night.
