COLUMBUS – The Clippers won their 11th Governor’s Cup title, completing a three-game sweep of the Durham Bulls with a 6-2 win Thursday night.

Bradley Zimmer hit a three-run home run in the sixth inning to put Columbus on the scoreboard and Josh Smith got the win in relief as four pitchers combined to strike out 12 hitters.
Ka’ai Tom and Daniel Johnson added homers in the seventh inning.
The Clippers had the best record in the IL this season and kept rolling in the playoffs by winning six of seven games.
