COLUMBUS – The Clippers won both games of a doubleheader from the Toledo Mud Hens at Huntington Park Saturday.
Columbus won the regularly scheduled game, 4-2, and came back to beat the Mud Hens, 4-1, in the game postponed from Thursday.
Tyler Krieger drove in two runs with a double to left field to break a 1-1 tie and scored during the Clippers’ three-run sixth inning in the first game.
Heath Fillmyer (2-5) struck out eight hitters and gave up four hits in six innings of work to get the win in the second game while Oscar Gonzalez hit a solo home run and drove in another run for Columbus.
