COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers are enjoying the International League’s longest current winning streak after beating the Buffalo Bisons 6-2 at Huntington Park Tuesday night.
Columbus scored three runs in the bottom of the third inning and rallied for three runs in the eighth to provide a little breathing room.
The win was the seventh straight for the Clippers.
Sean Nolin (2-4) left the game early with an undisclosed injury but still was tagged with the three Clippers runs and took the loss. Kyle Davies (4-4) got the win.
Game three of the series starts at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday.
