Columbus among nation’s “most fashion-forward”

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus may be a long way from New York, Paris or Milan, but it is near the top of the list of fashionable U.S. cities, according to one website.

Fashion Up lists Columbus as the third most fashion-forward city in the nation, behind only New York and Los Angeles.,

Although it acknowledges the city’s placement comes as a “bit of a shocker,” and that there is a big gap between LA and C-bus, the website says, with 518 fashion designers and corporate giants like Limited Brands, Abercrombie & Fitch and DSW headquartered in Columbus, the city deserves an almost-top ranking.

Nashville was ranked No. 4.
