INDIANAPOLIS – The Clippers beat Indianapolis, 3-1, in their series finale Wednesday afternoon, clinching the International League West Division.
An RBI single off of the bat of Ronny Rodriguez started the scoring for Columbus in the top of the 3rd inning, followed promptly by an Erik Gonzalez score on of a sacrifice fly. The Clippers would extend its lead in the top of the fifth with a solo home run from Michael Choice.
Shawn Morimando (5-1) got the win for the Clippers who head to Toledo for a two-game series against the Mud Hens.
