BEAVERCREEK, Ohio – The National Weather Service says an EF1 tornado that storm lifted a pickup truck and blew it into a building at a shopping center in southwest Ohio, injuring one person.

The person in the truck suffered minor injuries, one of two people Beavercreek police Capt. Eric Grile says were hurt when the storm rolled through the Dayton suburb late Tuesday afternoon, damaging businesses and nearby homes, overturning cars and downing power lines.
The pickup truck was thrown 60 yards from an adjacent Waffle House parking lot into the shopping center. Grile said
TV news video from Dayton outlets showed damaged facades of businesses at the Green Crossing Shopping Center, as well as cars damaged and turned over in the lot.
