COLUMBUS – A man and woman wanted in connection with the death of a man whose body was found in their East Side home Sunday have been arrested.
Police charged Kalene Bartlett, 22 (above left), and Danyell Florida, 37 (right), with one count each of abuse of a corpse and Florida was charged with murder after the body of Dametrious Edwards was found Sunday afternoon in the basement of a home at 716 S. Champion Avenue listed as Florida’s and Bartlett’s shared address.
Columbus Police Homicide Unit Sgt. Dave Sicilian says the two were taken into custody Tuesday.
Edwards, 28, had been reported missing on Sept. 7.
