COLUMBUS – A man and woman from Pennsylvania have been charged in the death of an 8-month old girl in a Franklinton apartment earlier this year.
Detectives filed charges of involuntary manslaughter and child endangering charges on Thursday against Evette Taylor, 21, and Quentin Jones, 22, both of New Castle, Pa., who were in the apartment when Adriana Barker suffered fatal injuries in February.
Columbus police officers found Adriana unresponsive when they arrived at the apartment at 243 Martin Avenue just before 2:00 a.m. on Feb. 20, according to Homicide Unit detectives.
She had sustained multiple injuries died later at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
