COLUMBUS – Police have confirmed that a couple whose bodies were found in a minivan on the Hilltop Sunday were those of a man and his girlfriend.
Ryan Fuller, 21, and Mikayla Sotherland, 20, appeared to have been beaten, according to investigators.
Police say the bodies were found late Sunday morning in a white 2005 Dodge Caravan in the 100 block of S. Harris Avenue.

Positive identification was made by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office, according to Sgft. Eric Pilya of the Homicide Unit.
Court records show John Jordan, 54, of Columbus, was been arrested on murder charges in both deaths after Pilya says he confessed.
The records don’t indicate whether Jordan has an attorney yet.
Police did not comment on any potential motive but there were reports that the three had been involved in a fight on Oct. 22 and that Jordan had struck Fuller and Sotherland with an unknown object.
