COLUMBUS – Police say a shooting in the Driving Park neighborhood has left a man dead and a woman in stable condition.
Lonnie Lambert and Nichelle Lillard were arguing inside of a house in the 900 block of Lilley Avenue at approximately 8:24 p.m., according to police. Officials say the pair then moved to the street and ended up in a yard across the street where shots were fired and where they were found.
Both were taken to Grant Medical Center, where Lambert, 36, died shortly after 9:00 p.m. and Lillard, 49, was listed in stable condition, police said.
There were no known suspects or motives Thursday morning and the case remained under investigation.
