COLUMBUS, Ohio – The couple accused of killing the son of a Columbus fire battalion chief and police detective is behind bars.
Melanie Spears, 36, will be arraigned today after turning herself in last night. Derrick Robinson, 35, was slapped with a $2 million bond yesterday after pleading not guilty.
Both are charged with aggravated murder for last month’s shooting death of Shaun Fullen during a robbery at his Smith Road home.
