COLUMBUS – The Columbus Crew and Portland Timber played to a 1-1 draw at Lowqer.com Field Sunday afternoon.
Kevin Molino scored from the left side of the box on an assist from Lucas Zelarayán to give Columbus the lead in the 36th minute.
Santiago Moreno hit the bottom right corner of the goal in the 5th minute of stoppage time to tie the score.
The Crew’s Eloy Room recorded two saves.
Columbus next hosts the New York Red Bulls on Oct. 1 (7:30 p.m./Bally Sports Ohio).
