FOXBORO, Mass. (AP) – Ethan Finlay and Federico Higuain scored and the Columbus Crew SC beat the New England Revolution on Saturday night to snap a 10-game winless streak.
Finlay tapped home a right-footer from inside the 6-yard box in the eighth minute. It was fourth goal of the season for Finlay, who scored 23 in 2014 and 2015 combined.
Higuain blasted a shot, from near the spot, into the net in the 49th.
Crew SC next plays on Wednesday, when the Philadelphia Union visits MAPFRE Stadium (7:30 p.m./ MyTV Columbus, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, BCSN2).
