COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Crew beat the New England Revolution 2-1 at Gillette Stadium on Saturday behind goals from Federico Higuain and Ethan Finlay.
The victory was the second straight for the Crew (6-7-8, 26 points), who took the lead just before halftime courtesy of Higuain’s free kick inside the left post. The goal was team leader Higuain’s seventh of the season.
After A.J. Soares tied the match in the 50th minute, Ethan Finlay won it for Columbus in the 84th minute.
