COLUMBUS – Ola Kamara scored his 15th goal of the season in first-half stoppage time and the Columbus Crew SC tied Sporting Kansas City 1-1 Sunday.
Columbus (13-12-4, 43 pts.) had lost six of its last seven regular-season games in the series.
The Crew SC next travels to Vancouver to face Whitecaps FC at BC Place Saturday (7:00 p.m./The CW Columbus, Spectrum Sports, BCSN2).
