COLUMBUS – Ola Kamara scored both goals for Columbus as the Crew SC shut out the New England Revolution 2-0 in front of a sold-out MAPFRE Stadium crowd Sunday night.
It was Kamara’s second consecutive brace and his fourth multi-goal performance of the season.
He scored off an assist from Mohammed Saeid in the 42nd minute to get the Crew SC (7-11-11, 32 points) on the board and added the second on a penalty shot in the 84th minute.
The Crew SC takes on D.C. United at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C., Wednesday (7:30 p.m. /MyTV Columbus, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, BCSN2).
