COLUMBUS – The Columbus Crew SC snapped a five-game losing streak Wednesday at MAPFRE Stadium with a 3-1 win over the LA Galaxy.
Federico Higuaín broke Columbus’ career assist record in the first half and added a goal in the second.
Gyasi Zardes and Hector Jimenez also scored for the Crew, which hosts LAFC on Saturday (7:30 p.m./ FOX Sports Ohio).
