COLUMBUS – Josh Williams scored the game-winner in the Columbus Crew SC’s 3-2 victory over the New York Red Bulls Saturday at MAPFRE Stadium.
The win extended the Crew’s undefeated streak to seven matches.
Williams’ goal in the 66th minute — his first goal of the 2017 MLS regular season and his first goal since 2013 – snapped a 2-2 tie.
Federico Higuain provided assists on all three Columbus goals, setting a new MLS regular-season career-high number of assists with 10.
