COLUMBUS, Ohio – A man accused of kidnapping his infant daughter, prompting an Amber Alert, is due in court Monday morning.
Roy Allen Fritts is accused of taking his 10-month-old daughter Andrianna from her mother’s Newark home Friday night and driving drunk with the child on his lap until authorities caught up with him in Grove City, according to reports on ABC6.
Adrianna Fritts was not harmed.
Fritts told the television station he panicked during a confrontation with the girl’s mother at her home on Karen Parkway and feared he would never be allowed to see the child again if he was caught.
Witnesses said they spotted Fritts’s vehicle in Circleville before he was arrested at his Grove City home.
