COLUMBUS – A man who had been missing since Dec. 5 was found dead in a parked car on the East Side Thursday morning, police said.

Patrol officers called to the 2900 block of E. Moreland Street at 9:42 a.m. by a resident who reported that a vehicle had been parked on the street and hadn’t moved in a long time found Ricardo Truss, also known as Ricardo Vallejo, in the vehicle, shot to death, Sgt. Eric Pilya of the Homicide Unit said.
Police said they had no suspects as of early Friday morning.
This is the 102nd homicide of the year in Columbus.
Vallejo, 39, was last seen on the East Side on Dec. 5.
