COLUMBUS – A Northeast Side woman and an unidentified juvenile are in custody after Franklin County authorities carried out a drug raid that also netted a quantity of suspected fentanyl.
Stacey Montgomery and the juvenile, whose name was not released, were arrested after a two-month investigation by detectives with the Franklin County Drug Task Force, Franklin County Sheriff Dallas Baldwin said.
Montgomery, 28, was charged with trafficking in fentanyl, a felony.
Detectives who began investigating the distribution of the powerful synthetic opiate in central Ohio in September bought quantities of the drug from Montgomery on multiple occasions, Baldwin said.
He was arrested at an address in the 6700 block of Karl Road on Wednesday afternoon and deputies also seized 450 grams of suspected. Fentanyl, Baldwin said
