Dublin police investigating homicide

DUBLIN – Dublin police have confirmed that a death on the city’s southwest side was a homicide and say they were interviewing a person of interest.

UPDATE 7/19/18 4:18 p.m.: This article has been edited to include the name of the victim after it was released by police

Officers were called to a home at 5709 Ennishannon Place just after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday after receiving a 911 call where they found Dr. Christopher Osborn, 50, who was pronounced dead by Washington Township paramedics, according to police spokesman Cameron Keir.

No other information was available Thursday.

Keir says police were speaking with a person of interest and the investigation continues.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Franklin County Coroner’s Office assisted in the investigation, Keir said.
