Dunn is done

COLUMBUS – Ohio State has dismissed running back Bri’onte Dunn from the football team for breaking team rules.

Coach Urban Meyer did not say what the specific violation involved but The Columbus Dispatch reported that a civil protection order was filed Monday against Dunn by a person thought to be his girlfriend.

Dunn had one season of eligibility remaining after graduating in May with a degree in sports industry and was expected to compete with Mike Weber for the running back slot vacated by Ezekiel Elliot.
