Early voting hours expand

COLUMBUS – As early voting continues in Ohio, candidates and surrogates are crisscrossing the key battleground state.

Ohio’s early voting hours extend this week, running from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. On Saturday, weekend early voting starts and will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Vice President Joe Biden campaigns for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton Monday at a convention center in Cleveland, a public library in Toledo and Sinclair Community College in Dayton.

The vice president’s visit comes on the heels of Clinton’s stop in the state on Friday and a Saturday rally by her Republican opponents, Donald Trump and Mike Pence.

Pence headed to Circleville Sunday and is back Tuesday with three events scheduled in Swanton, Ashland and Marietta

Democratic office holders and candidates across the state will walk to local Boards of Election to encourage Ohio to cast ballots. Several candidates and incumbents will be at the Franklin County Board of Elections, 1700 Morse Road, at 1:00 Monday afternoon.
