COLUMBUS – The city has reportedly issued an emergency order requiring the owner of a building that partially collapsed on the East Side yesterday to tear the building down immediately.
No injuries were reported in the collapse of the building in the 1000 block of E. Long Street just before noon, according to WBNS 10-TV.
Fire officials say a firefighter was on the second floor when the building collapsed but he was able to make it out safely.
E Long Street is closed between Miami Avenue and 20th Street.
