Elderly musician missing

COLUMBUS – A well-known blues musician from the East Side is the subject of an Endangered Adult Alert from the Columbus police.

UPDATE: Floyd Lee Williams was recovered this afternoon in good health.

Floyd Lee Williams, 82, was reported missing from his home on Nancy Lane Monday though the time of his departure from home is not known.

Police say he is known to wander from his home.

Williams is described as 5’8” tall, 140 lbs. with gray hair and brown eyes and was last wearing a black jacket, black shirt and black shoes.

According to a music website, Williams, whose real name is Ted, was a founding influence on New York City’s Music Under New York organization which features musicians who perform on subway platforms.
