Elderly woman missing

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Police are looking for an 86-year-old Alzheimer’s patient who walked away from her Northeast Side home Monday.

Investigators say Lelia Meadows left her home near I-71 and E 5th Avenue at approximately 1:00 p.m.. When last seen, she was wearing a white undershirt, long gray sleeved v-neck shirt, possibly on backwards, dark gray casual pants and brown tennis shoes.

She has long gray hair in corn rows, but sometimes wears a curly haired black wig and usually wears glasses. Police say she is “hunched over and may have difficulty hearing.”

Leila is 5’7/192 lbs. and suffers from Alzheimer’s disease among other medical issues.
