BOSTON (AP) — LeBron James says he has “zero” concern after the Cavaliers’ lopsided loss to the Celtics in Game 1 of their playoff series Sunday.
He credited the Celtics’ defensive strategy which included throwing multiple defenders at him. But he says he expects the Cavs to adjust and be ready for Game 2.
Jaylen Brown had 23 points and eight rebounds, Marcus Morris added 21 points and 10 boards, and Celtics opened a 21-point, first-quarter lead and scorched the Cavaliers 108-83 in the opening game of the Eastern Conference finals.
Al Horford scored 20 points for the Celtics, who ran off 17 consecutive points in the first quarter.
They host Game 2 on Tuesday.
