Fields wins top Big Ten offensive awards

COLUMBUS – Buckeye quarterback Justin Fields was named the Big Ten Offensive Player Quarterback of the Year.

The sophomore transfer from Georgia threw for 37 touchdowns, with only one interception, and was responsible for 47 total touchdowns while amassing a 192.1 passer efficiency rating. He has put up those numbers despite sitting out the fourth quarter of several games as the Buckeyes dominated opponents on their way to an undefeated regular season.

Fields is one of only three starting quarterbacks in college quarterback with a 12-0 record Fields is among 10 Buckeyes on offense who made either a first, second or third All-Big Ten team.
