Final week of absentee voting for primary

COLUMBUS, Ohio – This is the final week of absentee voting for the May 6 primary in Ohio.

The Franklin County Board of Elections office will be open for in-person early voting from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, spokesman Ben Piscitelli says.

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot by mail is noon Saturday. Absentee ballots returned by mail within the country must be postmarked by May 5 and arrive by May 16. Voted absentee ballots also may be returned to the board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
