COLUMBUS – The Crew SC fell to Chicago 2-1 in a Lamar Hunt Cup match Tuesday night, eliminating Columbus from the tournament.
David Accam scored both goals for the Fire, in the 7th and 29th minutes.
Ethan Finlay converted a penalty kick for Columbus (3-5-7, 16 pts.) in the 79th minute for his second goal of tournament
The Crew SC travels to take on Sporting Kansas City at Children’s Mercy Park Sunday, July 3 (7:00 p.m.)
