COLUMBUS, Ohio – Five children were taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital with minor injuries after a crash involving a school bus near New Albany this morning, New Albany police said
The bus apparently struck a vehicle that pulled out in front of it in the area of Harlem Road and Warner Road at 7:20 a.m., according to police and fire dispatchers.
Plain Township firer officials say they transported two children to the hospital and Columbus medics transported one, but there was no more information on the other two injuries.
Columbus City Schools spokesman Jeff Warner said the number of children on the bus was not immediately known.
