Former OSU great Terry Glenn dead in car crash

COLUMBUS – Former Ohio State football player and Brookhaven graduate Terry Glenn has died following a one-vehicle accident near Dallas that left his fiancĂ©e slightly injured.

A police spokeswoman says Glenn was driving when the vehicle left the highway, struck a concrete barrier and rolled. Irving police are investigating the cause of the wreck, which occurred just after midnight Monday.

The 43-year-old also played in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers and the New England Patriots. He was the 7th overall pick for the 1996 draft.

Glenn was a 1992 graduate of Brookhaven and a preferred walk-on at Ohio State as a defensive back but was switched to wide receiver.
