COLUMBUS – A former teacher in the Dublin City Schools has been charged with producing. possessing and distributing child pornography, authorities announced Tuesday.
Gregory Lee, 52, a former teacher at Dublin Scioto was charged with federal child pornography charges, including one count of production of child pornography and one count of possession, distribution and receipt of child pornography, Lindsay Weisenauer, senior public information officer for the City of Dublin, said..
Lee was charged after evidence came to light during an ongoing investigation by the Dublin Police Department, in conjunction with the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force, into an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student, Weisenauer said.
Lee resigned during the course of an investigation by the district’s human resources department into allegations of potential impropriety, Weisenauer said.
The district continues to fully cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation.
