COLUMBUS – Police are asking for the public’s help locating two Linden girls missing since Wednesday night.
UPDATE (11:15 a.m. 11/02/17): Aissatou Sarr was recovered this morning but Hailey Vazquez is still missing.
Investigators say Aissatou Starr (above left) and Hailey Vazquez (right), both 12, were last seen walking int the area of their home near the intersection of Hudson and Bremen streets around 7:00 p.m.
Aissatou is described as 5’4”/11o lbs. with black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing light blue jeans, a light blue hoodie, a maroon coat and carrying a purple backpack.
Hailey is 5.4”/104 lbs. with brown hair and eyes and was wearing jeans and a multi-colored jacket and carrying a blue suitcase and purple backpack with an emoji displayed on it, police said.
Anyone who sees either Aissatou or Hailey or knows of their whereabouts is asked to call the Columbus Police Missing Persons Unit at 614-645-4624.
