CLEVELAND (AP) — Donald Trump takes the stage at the Republican National Convention tonight to accept his party’s nomination for president.
Trump’s daughter Ivanka will introduce her father, in tonight’s grand finale of the Cleveland convention.
She’ll be the last of Trump’s four adult children to speak.
The evening’s theme — “Make America One Again” — is intended to focus on unity, calling attention to how Trump and running mate Mike Pence “will move our country beyond the divisive identity politics that have been holding us back,” according to a GOP release.
The theme has a touch of irony, considering how Wednesday night’s events transpired.
When Cruz took the stage at the GOP convention last night, he refused to endorse Trump, only to tell delegates to vote their conscience.

Delegates booed and Cruz’s wife Heidi was escorted out of the arena for her safety.
UPDATE: Cruz says he won’t vote for Hillary Clinton — but that he’s not going to promise to endorse Trump. Speaking to delegates from his home state Thursday, the Texas senator said he’ll be “watching and listening,” but he won’t “sit down, shut up, support the team.”
“I am not in the habit of supporting people who attack my wife and attack my father,” he added referring to Trump’s remarks about Heidi Cruz and Cruz’s father during the primary campaign.
