CLEVELAND (AP) — Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has returned to the team after being away to work on his health.
The former Pro Bowl player has not been in training camp.
He has been suspended by the NFL for most of the past five seasons for drug violations.
Gordon thanked the Browns and the league for their patience.
He says he returns to the game ‘humbly” and knows he must stay focused on his sobriety.
Gordon has played in only 10 games since 2013.
He is not expected to be on the field for several days.
